September Bible Study

Thursday's at 10:00 amPastor David will be leading a discussion based on Adam Hamilton’s book Half-Truths. There will be two options for classes: Wednesday evenings at 6 pm and Thursday mornings at 10 am.

They are simple phrases. They sound Christian--like something you might find in the Bible. We’ve all heard these words. Maybe we’ve said them. They capture some element of truth, yet they miss the point in important ways. Join in this 5-week Bible study to search for the whole truth by comparing common Christian clichés with the wisdom found in Scripture. The clichés include: Everything happens for a reason. God helps those who help themselves. God won’t give you more than you can handle. God said it, I believe it, that settles it. Love the sinner, hate the sin.

Wednesday Women's Bible Study
Wednesday's at 6:00 pm
Join us for a Women’s Bible Study as we walk through Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story.
In 7 sessions, Seamless covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. You’ll gain an overarching understanding of the fundamental layout and meaning of God’s Word.
Seamless will help replace insecurity with clarity and help you move forward with confidence in your understanding of Scripture. Each week features key information that ties all of Scripture together into the seamless truth of the gospel message, along with maps, general Bible facts, and word studies.
Wednesday Nights at 6:00 PM starting September 2 in the Parlor.

Saints Sinners Luncheon

Senior Adult Ministries invites you to join us for our luncheon on Thursday, September 24, from 12–1 p.m.

Bring a dish to share and enjoy a wonderful lunch, warm fellowship, and an inspiring program presented by Debbie Craig, a local and well-known potter and a dear friend to many in our church.
Debbie has been a professional potter for more than 40 years. She served for 30 years as Studio Director and Instructor at the Glynn Art Association and is now beginning her 12th year as an instructor of ceramics at the College of Coastal Georgia.
For our program, Debbie will bring her electric potter’s wheel and give a demonstration of wheel-thrown pottery. She will also share samples of her work and talk about the role of creativity in our lives.
Come enjoy good food, fellowship, and a fascinating look at the art of pottery. We hope you’ll join us! -
Pumpkins are ON THE WAY!

The pumpkins are coming!
Our pumpkin patch is getting ready, and we need a few helping hands to make it happen. Join us on Saturday, October 3 to help unload pumpkins, set up the patch, and spread the word!
Whether you can lend a hand with setup or help us get the word out, we’d love to have you be part of making this fall tradition happen.

St. Augustine Harbor Water Tour

Step aboard for a delightful, guided cruise through historic St. Augustine Harbor. Founded in the late 1500s, St. Augustine is rich with stories, sights, and centuries of coastal history. As you cruise, the captain’s live narration brings the harbor’s past to life. The boat features an enclosed lower deck and an open upper deck, making this tour comfortable in any weather. A restroom is available on board.

The narrated cruise lasts approximately 75 minutes. Following the tour, we’ll enjoy lunch together at a nearby restaurant (Dutch treat).

Bonaventure Cemetery Tour
Tuesday, October 13, 2026 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Embark on a captivating walking tour (approximately one mile) through history at Bonaventure Cemetery. Expert guides will lead us on an enlightening exploration of this iconic destination. Please bring a camera, water, bug spray, and comfortable walking shoes. The walk lasts approximately two hours, with stops and places to sit along the way.
